Comminus, 18 3/8" blade, 27 1/8" overall, 2" tall, 1/4" thick FCOMP11 high carbon alloy. Fallen Oak Forge charred aged oak scales with hydrofit pins.
Sinistra, 14 3/4" blade, 20 3/4" overall, 2" tall, 1/4" thick FCOMP11 high carbon alloy. Fallen Oak Forge charred aged oak scales with hydrofit pins.
More about the Comminus... Having a handle that is almost 9" long makes this a two handed gladius. The power you can generate with both hands behind this blade is amazing. That being said it handles very good and the balance in one hand is excellent. This is not a prop toy. This is a sword designed strong in all the right places to take serious abuse. It's great for trimming trees! I can make a kydex sheath for these blades as well.
