All new redesign of the original Comminus with a full 2" of blade length added while maintaining that balance you expect from the original design.
Comminus, 18" blade, 27" overall, 2" tall, 1/4" thick FOF5160 highcarbon alloy. Fallen Oak Forge brown/black/green canvas and burcarta scales with hydrofit pins.
Having a handle that is 9" long makes this a two handed gladius. The power you can generate with both hands behind this blade is amazing. That being said it handles very good and the balance in one hand is excellent. This is not a prop toy. This is a sword designed strong in all the right places to take serious abuse. It's great for trimming trees! I can make a kydex sheath for this blade as well.
